Welcome from the Pastor and Deacon
Welcome to our parish.
Two years ago I came to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish
as its new pastor. I remember the day well. I didn't know anyone and was nervous about how I would be accepted.
What I encountered was a wonderful, warm community of Faith that welcomed me with open arms. Since then I have discovered
that I was treated the same way as anyone who comes through the door of our Church. This is a community that celebrates
the presence of Christ through love of God and neighbor. It lives the works of mercy, especially welcoming the stranger.
It cares for the poor and neglected. It is alive with a spirit of generosity. Join us, but do more than that,
participate in our worship and community life. Discover what I discovered that day two years ago. At Our
Lady of Perpetual Help there is always room in the pew and at the table.

I am Deacon Steve Cooley. I was ordained to serve the people of God in 1997, and I have had the privilege of
serving that people in Ministry, Word, and Sacrament at OLPH since 1999. This community is a vibrant and faith-filled
